Posted: 05/19/2025

We are proud to announce that Tetra Pak has been named the winner of the Servitization Innovation Leader of the Year at the inaugural Servitization Awards 2025, presented by The Advanced Services Group. This recognition celebrates companies that are trailblazing new paths in service-led growth, with Tetra Pak standing out as a global leader in the adoption of advanced, outcome-based service models.

Since joining the Advanced Services Partnership in May 2021, Tetra Pak has demonstrated year-on-year growth in service revenues, underpinned by a clear and ambitious vision for “Outcome-based Services.” With a robust and strategic roadmap, the company has developed a comprehensive suite of advanced services designed to deliver measurable results for its customers around the world.

As of the end of 2024, Tetra Pak offers seven customer service offerings that support their processing and filling equipment. These span various levels of the ASG Services Staircase—from early-stage concepts like Everything-as-a-Service and Capacity-as-a-Service, which are currently in Exploration and Engagement phases, to more established offerings such as Plant Care, Plant Secure, and Plant Perform, now delivering tangible benefits in the Expand and Exploit stages.

Sasha Ilyukhin, Vice President, Processing Services Solutions at Tetra Pak, commented:

“We started our advanced services transformation journey several years ago, and to be recognised as the Servitization Innovation Leader of the Year 2025 reflects our continued commitment to creating deeper, more meaningful value for our customers. It affirms our leadership in service-led growth and underscores our mission to help customers overcome today’s complex operational and environmental challenges.

“Through advanced services and a customer-first mindset, we are redefining how value is delivered—not just for our customers, but for the entire sector. By championing innovation and sharing our learnings with our peers, some of whom are part of an industry coalition at The Advanced Services Group, we aim to accelerate a global shift toward the adoption of outcome-based business models.”

This award recognises Tetra Pak’s exceptional progress and ambition. Their roadmap not only focuses on immediate customer success but also positions them as an industry exemplar in driving systemic change across the food and beverage sector.

Professor Tim Baines, Executive Director of The Advanced Services Group and Professor of Operations Strategy at Aston Business School, praised Tetra Pak’s achievement:

“Tetra Pak is dedicated to making their customers more successful by leading the way in outcome-based services. Their advanced solutions not only boost productivity but also deliver measurable results, proving that they are an exemplar in this evolving industry.”

Professor Ali Z. Bigdeli, Co-Director of The Advanced Services Group and Professor of Industrial Service Innovation at Aston Business School, added:

“Tetra Pak has made a bold shift from focusing purely on products and production to prioritising customer success through advanced services. Their servitization journey ensures customers achieve greater operational performance, resilience, and long-term value.”
