The Advanced Services Group (ASG) has unveiled the winners of the first-ever Servitization Awards, recognising outstanding achievements in service-led business transformation. Presented at the Services Week Gala Dinner on 14 May, the awards honour leaders who have advanced the adoption and impact of servitization in industry.
Almudena Marcos, Advanced Services Design & Business Development Manager EMEA at OMRON, has been named Servitization Champion of the Year, recognising her exceptional leadership in embedding advanced services across international markets. Tetra Pak received the Servitization Innovation Leader of the Year award for its global commitment to building value through service innovation and sustainable operations.
“These awards celebrate the organisations and individuals who are redefining industry by embracing service-led business models,” said Professor Tim Baines, Executive Director of the Advanced Services Group. “Servitization isn’t just a trend — it’s a transformation in how manufacturers create and deliver value. This year’s winners exemplify what is possible when that mindset is fully adopted.”
Almudena Marcos has played a pivotal role in driving servitization at OMRON, shaping strategic initiatives and enabling cultural and operational shifts across a multinational business.
“Almudena’s work demonstrates how powerful individual leadership can be in delivering long-term change,” Professor Baines added. “She has not only implemented servitization but become a strong advocate for its business value and human impact.”
Tetra Pak was recognised for its forward-thinking approach to applying outcome-based service models across the food and beverage sector, driving innovation at scale.
“This recognition highlights Tetra Pak’s pioneering role in applying advanced, outcome-based service models to the food and beverage sector,” said Professor Baines. “They are showing how servitization can unlock operational resilience, long-term value and sustainable growth in even the most established industries.”
Now in its inaugural year, the Servitization Awards will become an annual fixture in The Advanced Services Group’s calendar of activities, celebrating excellence and innovation in servitization and advanced services.
